Renault Sport Formula One Team driver Jolyon Palmer will line up on the tenth row of the grid for the Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix tomorrow (18 September). Jolyon lapped the Marina Bay Street Circuit in a time of 1min 46.960secs, the 19th fastest of qualifying.

Jolyon Palmer, #30, R.S.16-05, Q: P19 1:46.960. FP3: P20: 1:48.689

“Qualifying was looking to be going okay; on my final lap I was picking up pace however the tyres overheated after a big slide – so the performance fell off a cliff, meaning that I was nowhere in the second half of that lap. If not for that there was definitely a good few tenths of pace in the offing. Let’s see what we can do tomorrow.”
